How it started
We didn’t start Ever After as a business idea. It started as something we genuinely loved doing.
For the past 7 years, Brisbane has been home to us. And somewhere along the way, our favourite thing became simple - packing up a picnic, finding a quiet spot by the river, setting everything up just right, and watching the sunset together.
The details
We’ve always cared about the details. The way the table is styled. The colours working together. The little touches that make everything feel intentional.
And yes… making sure it looks like something straight out of Pinterest.
But more than that, it was the feeling.
Slowing down. Being present. Actually enjoying time together without rushing off to the next thing.
Why we created Ever After
When we looked into picnic experiences around Brisbane, we noticed something that didn’t sit right with us.
Most setups gave you about 1.5 hours. And honestly… that’s barely enough time to settle in.
You arrive, take a few photos, maybe start relaxing - and then suddenly, time's up!
We wanted something different.
So we created Ever After Picnics with one simple idea: give people the time and space to actually enjoy the moment.
That’s why all our experiences are extended to 3 hours - so you can slow down, unwind, and fully take it all in.
Why meaningful moments matter to us
We know how rare it is to slow down and spend quality time with the people who matter most. Whether it's uninterrupted time with your partner, celebrating a milestone with family, or gathering with close friends, those moments deserve to be enjoyed without distraction.
